Job Summary
This role requires expertise in analyzing drill holes, underground water resources, and the geological data necessary for efficient water resource management and environmental assessments. As a qualified Natural Scientist with a specialization in Geohydrology, you will ensure that our projects align with regional standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of drill holes and underground water sources to assess water availability and quality.
- Use scientific methods and tools to monitor, interpret, and evaluate groundwater levels and flow.
- Prepare and present geohydrological reports, including data interpretation and recommendations for water resource management.
- Collaborate with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable water resource policies.
- Provide expertise in risk assessments related to water resources, ensuring sustainable and safe practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geohydrology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Registration with SAPNAS or an equivalent natural science regulatory body.
- At least 5 years of experience in geohydrology or a related field.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in geohydrological analysis techniques and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for report writing and presentation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
