Effectively manage a team of software engineers/ developers and testers to develop software product according to the company’s SDLC process on time and within budget
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Lead and manage a software team utilizing the latest technology to achieve the company’s objectives.
- Design and develop systems, sub-systems and programs as per the company’s SDLC
- Develop application code and modules for business and technical requirements as per company specifications and QMS processes
- Perform a project management function of assigned projects to ensure optimal use of company resources
- Provide regular project updates to the R&D Manager
- Tune up design for maintainability, scalability and efficiency
- Perform unit tests and fix bugs
- Integrate best qualitative practices in design and development aspects of programs
- Identify and implement necessary development and tasks to meet company goals and commitments learning company business model
- Supply design and development projects on time and within budget
- Convey project objectives, risks and success criteria to research and development manager
- Perform business analysis and write specifications related to developed software
- Analyze and resolve software errors accurately on time and provide required status reports
- Design and develop new software programs and applications assisting developers, analysts and designers
- Assist in preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications
- Suggest, plan and implement software improvements and upgrades
- Write, translate and code software programs and applications commensurate to specification
- Resolve problems with software products or company software systems working with online support staff
Desired Experience & Qualification
B. Eng or B Sci (Comp Sci)
Minimum 5 years relevant software development experience:
- MS SQL Server 2012, SQL Reporting Services Designer,
- C#, ASP.Net, MVC, HTML 5, Javascript, AngularJs, Linq
- Functional Testing, Integration Testing
- XML, XSD, XSL
- Web API 2
- Json, Ajax, Java
Software design and coding, Platform knowledge (Windows), Pedantic nature, Design for re-useability
SDLC exposure or other industry requirements
