Production Manager – Engineering

An engineering client in Pinetown is looking for an experienced metal press shop manager.

Must have Metal pressing experience with costing and the understanding of eccentric presses.

Environment:

Staff contingent of 25 people
14 presses including 5 to 250 ton / guillotine and press brake / spot welding / co2 welding
Manufacturing 800 products

Production

Plan production on a daily basis , based on customer requirements and urgencies
Complete production Schedule and oversee the purchasing of material
Oversee the staff and ensure that they are meeting their targets and check the quality of product that they are producing
Help customers with queries and costing of new or special products
Costing of new and existing products
General running of all Departments , Maintains, Guillotine, Bending Break, Welding Bays ETC
